  5. Palm Sales Ledger provides all the facilities to maintain a company's customer
  6. accounts from the entry of invoices, credit notes, payments and journals
  7. through to credit checking, statement printing, sales analysis and management
  8. reporting. The Palm Sales Ledger has branch accounting and reporting, plus
  9. account transaction history. Invoices in dispute may be flagged to avoid
  10. allocation, and cash posted to major accounts may be allocated to invoices
  11. posted to branch accounts. A particularly comprehensive sales analysis facility
  12. exists where, potentially, sales analysis can be produced over 2,550 different
  13. elements. Statements are produced showing outstanding transactions, age of
  14. debt, and optionally the paid transactions and cash received. At period end,
  15. paid transactions can be moved automatically to a history file.
